A monumental work composed by Eric Bettens for the Earth. ANA'S MEMORY, Requiem for the Earth is a creation in eight movements for choir, orchestra, soloists, voice-over, and video. Composed in 2019, it could only be premiered on stage in January 2023, after the years of silence imposed by the pandemic. The libretto, by Yvain Stiennon, unfolds a poignant meditation on the fragility of our planet, from its birth to its possible extinction. An extraordinary evening at the Waux-Hall in Nivelles, before a deeply moved audience.
