Yvain ou le chevalier au lion

A monumental operatorio adapted from Chrétien de Troyes' novel. YVAIN, LE CHEVALIER AU LION brought together on stage over 50 musicians, 65 choristers and 4 soloists alongside a narrator, under the direction of Eric Bettens. The libretto, written by Marc Ronvaux, weaves together the medieval narrative and the orchestral score with great skill. A work that earned Eric Bettens a nomination at the 2012 Hollywood Music in Media Awards, international recognition for this major Belgian creation.
